Rush to my blog directly, or hold on a bit to read the following.

I like writing down my thoughts and observations. Well, of course, not all of what I think and what I see. I knew that I would not give up blogging since the first time I did it. This, however, doesn't mean that I like to blog very often, as some tireless bloggers do. The reasons are simple: I am somewhat lazy and don't have much time.

The ultimate goal of my research in physics is to unify General Relativity and Quantum Physics, which is the most intriguing and ambitious area of modern theoretical physics. I thus claim that I'm walking, better say marching, on the road to unification. Maybe I should say 'a road', rather than 'the road', not to piss anyone off. Anyway, I named my blog "Road to Unification", neither 'a' nor 'the'.

Nevertheless, I blog not only on physics but also (in fact largely) on other things. That said, don't be scared off my blog if you are not a physicst fan.

I blog in both English and Chinese. To be precise, I wrote some entries in English only, some in Chinese only, and some in both English and Chinese. If you don't speak Chinese and your computer OS is not equipped with a Chinese Language Pack, you will very probably see a bunch of square boxes or even more wierd symbols in some blog entries; however, this shouldn't affect you much in reading my English or bilingual posts 'cause Chinese characters won't appear any friendlier to you than square boxes. If you hate to see any square boxes, please browse only the category "English".
